Hot Air Balloon Riding

A hot-air balloon flight is unique from any other flight experience as there is no sensation of motion. Travelling at heights of up to 1500 feet, the feeling is one of peace and tranquility. The earth slowly descends and rotates below you. Within moments of lift off you become at ease while you effortlessly drift over the treetops and the spectacular Cappadocia landscape. It is like a dream to gently float over the unique countryside in complete harmony with your surroundings.

The deep canyons and lush fertile valleys of Cappadocia provide hot-air balloons with an ideal playground to delight passengers with a unique and memorable flight. As gentle winds carry the balloon over places that accessible by foot you will gain an unequaled perspective of the ever changing Cappadocia landscape.

You will be picked up at your hotel between 04:30 to 05 :00 a.m and transferred to the hot-air balloon departure point where you will enjoy a hot beverage and Turkish pastry as you watch the professional flight team prepare your balloon for flight. Balloons will begin flights just before and coinciding with sunrise when you will enjoy the spectacular view of Cappadocia for about one hour. After your flight is completed you can enjoy a departing toast and a transfer will bring you back to your hotel about 08:00 a.m.

 

 

 
 
 

 

Horseback Riding

In ancient times the name Cappadocia meant “the land of beautiful horses” and the finest horses were raised in this region. Today, on your adventures Cappadocia horse riding, you’ll ride through ancient villages to meet welcoming local Turks and pass through valleys with stunning rock formations, called fairy chimneys. Over time the soft rocks have been sculpted by erosion from the elements, like wind and water, into shapes which can fuel the imagination and local legend. Whirling Dervishes Ceremony

Known to the west as Whirling Dervishes, the Mevlevi Order was founded by Mevlana Rumi in the 13th century. The Order wrote of tolerance, forgiveness, and enlightenment. They survive today as a cultural brotherhood. They are not theatrical spectacles but sacred rituals. Mevlevi believed that during the sema the soul was released from earthly ties, and able to freely and jubilantly commune with the divine.The Whirling Dervishes played an important part in the evolution of Ottoman high culture. From the fourteenth to the twentieth century, their impact on classical poetry, calligraphy and visual arts was profound. Rumi and his followers integrated music into their rituals as an article of faith.Especially the place makes another aspect for the show,known as one of the oldest caravanserai of Turkey “Saruhan Caravanserai” where it performs.The show starts at 21.00 pm every night and takes 45 min.

 

 

 
 
 

 

Turkish Night

The Turkish Night Show highlights the dance traditions of various regions of Turkey, complete with traditional costumes and of course belly dancers. This lively performance in Turkish Night Show in Cappadocia is a great way to enjoy traditional Turkish music, dancing and join in the festivities during audience participation. 

The Turkish Night show in Cappadocia begins with a short, 10 minute sample of Whirling Dervishes Ceremony. Dancers, including the bride and groom, perform the traditional way in which a girl gets married in Turkey. After a couple of other folk dances from different parts of Turkey, the highlight of the night comes: a belly dancer! The night ends around 23:30 pm. During the night the waiters will serve unlimited soft and alcoholic drinks with appetizers.
